#FreshTastyValentines Giveaways

by Erin

With Valentine’s Day nearly upon us, it’s time to start thinking about how to show the people in your life that you love them by appealing to their stomachs. Being that I’m not the best at expressing my feelings in words, this is the ideal scenario for me. Last year, Camilla (Culinary Adventures with Camilla) gathered a group of bloggers to facilitate just that with what was called #TripleSBites – celebrating romance with spicy, saucy, and sexy bites. This year she is hosting again but with a new name: #FreshTastyValentines.

What I made for #FreshTastyValentines:
Monday 2/1 – BBQ Bacon Mango Pizza
Wednesday 2/3 – Wine Smoothies
Friday 2/5 – Strawberry Basil Shortcakes with Chocolate Balsamic Drizzle
Monday 2/8 – Lighter Roasted Garlic & Hemp Seed Fettuccine Alfredo

#FreshTastyValentines is here! A group of 22 talented food bloggers who will be posting recipes for an entire week that, we hope, will inspire you to make some healthy Valentines treats for your loved ones. Here we are…

We usually go out to dinner but when I do cook at home it’s a nice pasta with lots of veggies.

I don’t have a Valentine but chocolate makes an excellent substitute!

This year, I am making lasagna and red velvet cake for Valentine’s Day. Past years, I have made heart shaped pizza and the kids love it! We typically stay home and celebrate with the kids.
