I had a few people try them and nobody would eat them – just had zero sweetness and unfortunately in a cookie you expect some sweetness. I thought they were easy to make and will try adding sugar to the peanut butter as you suggested- I don’t want to give up on them just yet!

It seems the jury is divided on rugelach as I know people who prefer them sweet or less so. You could definitely mix the peanut butter with powdered sugar (and butter to cream it back out) to increase the sweetness!
