Just made it. I used the cherries you can get at most grocers and tart cherry juice. The effect was the same!

I love the idea of any cherries with the cranberries. I’ve never seen tart cherries anywhere except for the dried ones I use all the time. I’m guessing I could rehydrate those and use those to make this sauce (or just add them as is and let the cherry juice rehydrate them. This has to be the best-sounding cranberry sauce I’ve ever come across.
