Reporting back as ordered, SIR!! ???? As I suspected, the flavor combination here is exquisite. And that’s even though I killed the sage brown butter (everything was basically black, because I neglected watching it for a few minutes). Nothing was burnt beyond recognition, so I did put some sage leaves and their accompanying butter on the pizza. The dough also gave me grief – it decided to stick to the lightly floured surface, so I had to re-roll it. You really nailed the flavors with this, so I’ll definitely be making it again, hopefully with brown butter sage instead of blackened.
