The dress is beautiful and looks good on you, with or without a belt (I’ve got one with a similar waistline and would prefer to have a sash belt for it). It’s not worth keeping a skirt that doesn’t fit right – you’re clearly not built like most people these days, who don’t have waistlines. And I can’t fathom wearing those shoes – they look very uncomfortable, worse than having to learn to wear high-top hiking boots. IMHO. :-)
