In reply to Laurel. Without knowing the proportion of mint to sugar in your homemade version, I cannot say for sure that the flavor will be the same, but structurally it should be okay!

I don’t have rum extract but I have Bacardi white rum. Or vanilla. What would you recommend? Thanks.
