I make my own nut butters all the time – almond, peanut, coconut. Haven’t gotten around to cashew or walnut yet. Pistachios are one of my very favorite nuts, so I’m not certain why I never thought of making butter from them. Possibly because I generally don’t keep them in the house. Just happen to have some now, so I’ll have to try this. You know you’re a bad influence on me, right? :-D

Oh I most definitely bought them pre-shelled. I have made the mistake of shelling them myself once before, never again!
