Because I’ve recently had several disappointments using my slow cooker, I chose to make this on the stove top. It came out wonderfully flavorful. I will definitely be making this one again. I’ve been looking for quite a while for a good beef stew recipe, and with this one I’m sure I found it.

Since I am not a fan of guiness, i think this is my best bet of getting some Irish in me! I am game for anything beef stew ;)

Given that I just made your latest corned beef (but with potato and cabbage instead of rutabaga), I would choose the Guinness beef stew. I would also want to try this because I didn’t care much for the last one I tried. This one sounds really nice.
