Haha I actually brought buckeyes to a tailgate at Penn State once. My Penn State friends refused to call them by their name, but couldn’t resist eating them so they stuck with calling them “peanut butter balls”. Can’t deny deliciousness! Bringing people together :-).

Feel free to use another kind of nut butter or spread you prefer. It would work with almond butter, Nutella, etc.
