I love making layer cakes. This is so pretty. Awesome idea to use brown butter in the frosting! I turn the air on the moment it gets a little hot, but I loooove the hot weather. It’s funny, but it doesn’t bother me to spend the whole day baking either.

I’m so intimidated by the idea of making a layer cake but I’ve got to say-they do have the wow factor. This is gorgeous, and I love the combination of flavors!

Beautiful cake! Love your cake stand too! I always prefer to make cupcakes too! But I love the look of a later cake!

I usually shy away from layer cakes in favor of cupcakes too, but sometimes you’ve just gotta do it! Love the combination of flavors in this one, I am obsessed with almond extract! And yes, the cake does look quite spiffy on that cake stand ;)
