I've never had a hazelnut spread without chocolate, and while I don't generally like nuts, I just discovered the goodness that is almond butter. I'm so intrigued!

I hate to say it, but unfortunately I cannot say for sure since I just made it for the first time. I would think that like many other homemade nut spreads, it will keep for a couple of months on the shelf. Possibly longer if kept in the fridge. Sorry I could not give you a definite answer!

Erin, I know I say this all the time and my recipes do not back it up... ever... but I am NOT a huge chocolate fan! I'll take peanut butter, nutty, fruity, and vanilla over it any day! But the world LOVES chocolate! This is so something I would make - it looks incredible and addicting!
