I forgot to say that my first batch I did not read the directions very well and added the cookie butter to the crumbs/butter and mixed it with it. The second batch I followed the directions to the T. I cut them into bars this morning and actually liked te first batch better. It was also so much easier to mix it all together. By the way, they are to die for!

I needed something really good to share for a gathering. As I am writing this they (two pans) are cooling. I went to Trader Joe’s to search for this cookie butter and candy bar that I have never heard of. As soon as I got home I had to sample each, so happy I bought extra!!! Truely woke up my taste buds :-P Now I just cannot wait to sample a full Smore Cheesecake Bar!

Though anything with cookie butter, cream cheese, and/or chocolate piques my interest, these woud be gobbled up. Since graham crackers are not my fav, I’m happy to find chocolate graham crackers are all I have on hand! Wish my sons and their wives lived closer: the boys love chesecake and the gals love s’mores. Definitely one to pin. Hmmm, might try gilding the lily and using some Nutella swirled through instead of the chips and topping. BUT I MUST GET THOSE SPECULOOS-FILLED CHOCOLATE BARS!!! (Yes, I’m shouting as if I didn’t have slippers I’d make a quick run to TJ’s less than 10 min away.) Thank you so very much for these yummy bars and lots of ideas.
