Hello, Erin. I am looking at a page I printed out in Oct. 2013 of this recipe. We have made it many times. Just excellent. Your description includes a note that you used some instructions from Laura to make it. Just wanted you to know that the old recipes are still cranking for you. You definitely have to try it this way. Don’t forget to sprinkle some oregano inside before you bake it! I think you were using pizza dough, right? Suggest going to a local, NOT A CHAIN PIZZA SHOP, and see if they will sell you some of their pizza dough! A lot less work and no stress! Also left over dough you can freeze for later!

In reply to Eddie B.. Eddie, that does sound excellent! But when I posted this recipe in 2012 I was in graduate school and did not have a lot of money so I made do with what I could. Clearly I need to revisit with your suggestions!

Salami and honey ham? That’s it? That does not constitute even a subpar Stromboli! Besides the mozzarella cheese you need some prosciutto, cappicola, and some provolone to make it right! Now THATS A STROMBOLI!
