Dear Spiffy & followers,

I really like your recipe and can’t wait to try it. Just a little note about sauces that have milk in them-I use fat-free evaporated milk in all my recipes calling for milk. It has a very rich creamy taste without all the fat. I use the walmart brand. I have had to diet and watch my fat consumption for most of my life so I have had to look for an alternative for that rich creamy taste. I hope this helps my fellow dieters out there.

Oh wow, I agree with Shawnda, that is comfort food at its finest! If I skipped the veggies I’m pretty sure my husband could eat the entire casserole himself :)

Great recipe! I made my own alfredo sauce recently, and while still heavy, thought it was lighter than a lot of the bottled versions I’ve used.

I’m in the same boat as Jennifer–I tend to find alfredo sauces really heavy (and they make my heart heavy when I read the nutrition labels). I’d love to try this casserole out, though. And I love that it’s topped with biscuits!!
