Are you ready for more Funfetti breakfast creations? I never tire of it. And how can you beat having an excuse to eat it first thing in the morning? I actually drank most of it during the first taste test before letting it’s photo be taken. I had to stop myself from gulping it all down in order to take the photo seen below with only enough left to fill a small glass. That just means you really need to make this!
In other news, today is Brent and my 2-year anniversary! We are going to Flight for dinner and I’m super stoked. It sounds like a lot of fun! I am having a dilemma already trying to decide between all the dessert options though.
Ingredients:
1/2 banana
1/4 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
1/4 cup dry Funfetti cake mix (plain white or yellow would work as well) (heat treated*)
1/2 scoop whey protein, vanilla flavored (optional)
3/4 cup milk
Sprinkles, for garnish
Directions:
- Place ingredients, in the order listed, into a rocket blender. Seal with the cross blade base and pulse until well combined.
- Top with sprinkles and enjoy!!
*Raw eggs are not the only possible source of bacterial contamination, raw flour is also a culprit. Heat treat by heating in microwave to 160 degrees F – about 1 minute stirring every 15 seconds.

So cool….sprinkles just make me all giggly which is tough to do first thing in the morning. ;)
Happy anniversary! I’ve fixed a few computers for Flight and as a result have tried the chocolate and cheescake flights. Of the two I prefer the chocolate but they have added a bunch recently. Tell me how it is! Also, ask them if thier computers are still working.
We ended up skipping dessert, but I absolutely loved everything else I had!
This sounds so good! I could always use another way to work cake into breakfast without getting disapproving looks.
