Baked Garlic Parmesan Fries

Easily make these baked garlic parmesan fries with frozen fries. Just toss in oil and garlic, bake, and finish with grated parmesan and fresh parsley.

The first time I was ever exposed to garlic parmesan fries was at Boscos in Memphis, TN. Not only do they brew brew, but they serve up some amazing food. It is one of my grad school lab’s favorite places to go when we need to get away for the lunch hour. We may have had lab meeting there once or twice as well. It’s okay if the boss goes too, right?

However, it’s a 25 minute drive from where I live to these fries. Once I leave downtown after the end of the day, I often lack motivation to go back before morning and fries to-go are never as good as fresh at the restaurant. So let’s make some garlic parmesan fries at home, shall we?

Pomora garlic olive oil.

These oven baked garlic parmesan fries are easy to make because you use pre-cut frozen fries, which are a magical creation located in the friendly freezer section at a grocery near you ! All you need in addition to that is olive oil (I used Pomora garlic olive oil), salt, garlic, parmesan, and parsley. Fresh ingredients are best but dried will also suffice (just use 1/3 the amount since dried is more potent).

In the end, these garlic parmesan fries are pure garlic-y glory and perfect with ketchup. Because I love ketchup almost as much as these fries. They are also the perfect side to a savory hand pie.

Baked Garlic Parmesan Fries.

BAKED GARLIC PARMESAN FRIES

Ingredients

  • 4 cups frozen fries
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh shredded Parmesan
  • 2 Tbsp fresh chopped flat leaf parsley

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil and coat lightly with non stick spray, set aside.
  2. Toss the fries in the olive oil, salt, and minced garlic in a large bowl. Place the fries onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading to a single layer.
  3. Roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping once, until brown, and crispy. Toss the fries in a big bowl with the cheese and parsley and serve hot.

I made these last night! Very tasty. The garlic burned but that was my bad chopping. Next time I’ll just buy the jar of minced garlic.
